Onimusha: Way of the Sword's super-fun sword combat really packs a punch and is the star of the show along with the ridiculous game world and cast of characters that'll make things a lot more entertaining if they click with you. 👹
I had an incredibly fun time with CAPTAIN TSUBASA 2: WORLD FIGHTERS and it may just be my favourite team sports game ever made with its spot-on anime visuals and exciting atmosphere as well as its flashy and challenging gameplay that anyone can pick-up-and-play. ⚽
I had a superb time with Brigandine Abyss in all of its strategic greatness on so many levels from large battles to an even larger war on top of carefully managing each one of your many combatants. Plus, there's a campaign that stars adorable fairies and that's pretty cool. ⚔️
ELDEN RING Tarnished Edition combines one of the best games ever made with perhaps the best DLC ever made and it performs much better than you'd assume on Switch 2 so it's a definite must-play for anyone who has yet to traverse the Lands Between. 💍
With a lot of enjoyable tasks to accomplish and a gorgeous world to explore as you do, Lou's Lagoon is spot-on for a relaxing good time. 🛩️
I thoroughly enjoyed Akatori's approach to combat, platforming, and exploration and its upgrade system is incredibly unique and rewarding. ⛩️
Mastering Lootbound involves a lot of planning and strategy and once it all clicks, mowing down monsters in its RPG battles really feels great. 🎲
OBAKEIDORO 2: Chase & Seek is such a fun-filled multiplayer game that'll keep you and your chums excitedly on the edge of your couch. 👻
Games don't get much less innovative than Wild Blue Skies but there's no denying that it's a solidly-made game so that's cool, I guess. 🦊
It's rare when a game single-handedly makes me question my love of an entire genre but Panzer Knights: Commander's Edition is that bad. 🎖️
MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls is an incredibly enjoyable fighter that's impressively accessible and has a ton of potential to be expanded upon down the road. If you enjoy colourful fighting games with diverse casts then you need to play this one, chums. 🦸♀️
Starsand Island surprised me with just how deep of a life sim it is. There are still many bugs that need to be ironed out but they didn't stop me from sinking countless hours into its delightful world as it does a lot of things exceptionally well. 🏝️
I had a super-fun time with Monsters are Coming! in all of its moving city-protecting gameplay shenanigans and I'm looking forward to all sorts of DLC and perhaps a sequel. We need more roguelikes like this, chums! 🏰
I had a lot of fun with Parkasaurus: Dinoluxe Edition as it features silly lighthearted sim gameplay with just enough depth and variety to make it rewarding. Plus, the dinos can wear goofy accessories and that's super-cute. 🦕
Pokemon Pokopia Bubbly Basin introduces a new gameplay mechanic and lots of fun content to explore. I'm super-happy to have another excuse to go back into the game and I can't wait for the next biome! 🌊
The Mermaid Mask presents an intriguing story wrapped in a super-impressive presentation although it could do with an improved hint system to help it from becoming tedious and repetitive. 🧜♀️
If you go into Instant Sports 2 with an open heart to the good ol' days of lighthearted mini-game funfests then you'll share a lot of smiles with your chums as you paddle, pedal, putt, and punch your way to victory. 🎾
PAW Patrol: Dino World is a lovely little game that makes exploring large areas as you unlock goodies for your favourite pups a real treat. 🐶
FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster is a polished version of a pair of classic PlayStation 2 RPGs and they're a heck of a lot of fun although some old-school baggage still remains. 👩🎤
Disgaea Mayhem has plenty of nifty aspects going for it such as its cute and colourful visuals and familiar systems that are well incorporated in the new action formula. At the same time, the combat is just so simple and repetitive and I wish there was much more to it. 🐧
