The Legend of Zelda series has enjoyed so many high points over the years that it really is difficult to separate out the best of the bunch from one another. Though everyone is in agreement that games like Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild are among the best of the bunch, it's the tier below where things quickly become murky.
That said, it does feel like a relatively safe contention that both Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons (as they are so intrinsically connected) are some of the most underrated of the bunch. Happily, the latter is about to make its return to relevance thanks to the hard work of one very dedicated fan developer, and not a moment too soon.
Over on Twitter/X, the user Reticent shared a post confirming that a newly uploaded fan game has just been released. Essentially, it's a Game Boy hack that builds on the basic offering of Oracle of Seasons, giving even those who have played the series a lot, the chance to have some new adventures with the game.
